In Response To: Pygmy vs. CLC??? (Jed)

These two companies do not like each other and can get quite nasty about their differences. The threads I've seen on this topic typically have lots of builders happy with what they've built (some CLC, some pygmy). As far as I can gather, the primary construction difference is butt joints on Pygmy, scarfs on CLC (both companies claim their joint is superior in EVERY regard). Another option for kits is San Javier Kayaks or using Nick's free offsets to build one from scratch.
