You are quite the fabric artiste. Really nice job - perhaps you could offer design consulting services to Lotus! Let's see, you've built the boat, the paddle, the pfd, the anorak, the spray skirt (right?). You're a wholly hand-crafted operation. Very cool.

: Okay, I know it's not exactly USCG-kosher, but I built my own PFD. I took the
: good PVC foam from an old Stearns ski vest and built a new body for it. I
: used my Lotus Rio Grande as a rough pattern, but I added more lash tabs,
: larger pockets, a tow belt, and a long back pocket to hold a camelbak
: bladder.

: I still need to add the quick-release "ripcord" to the camlock
: buckle on the tow belt.
