these links have offsets for the Walrus (by George Putz):

http://www.geocities.com/Eureka/Business/7882/walrus17.htm

http://www.geocities.com/Eureka/Business/7882/walrus18.htm

& I'm not sure what else is in this site, but in any case, you can purchase the book for $20 or so, which is close to "free".

hmm... now that I think about it, here are 2 more books:

Building a Jawbone Kayak

by Zu Freeman

it cost $10 at amazon. I have no idea what kayak is in there. maybe somebody else knows.

The Aleutian Kayak: Origins, Construction, and Use of the

Traditional Seagoing Baidarka

by Wolfgang Brinck

it cost $20 at amazon. it's a baidarka.

these 3 options are offsets for skins on frames, but offsets are just offsets.

&....my cheapest offer is the: "sea spirit". somebody here designed & built it. scroll down & you'll find it. It's a beautiful greenland style s&g kayak (he put a picture in his post). I know nothing about its performance, but I'm sure his designer/builder can tell you. worst of all, I don't know if he lets others use his design, I think he does though, ask him.

hope this helps
