If you're looking for that water like finish, either of these posts are superb. When going with polishing compounds, go to the Automotive Paint stores, where you will find the silicon carbide paper in the grits George is talking about and ask for their best polish. It won't come cheap. It will ( or should ) contain " Jewelers Rouge ". That stuff is slicker than snot on a glass door knob. I'm not sure what George is refering to by " Too Glossy ", as what he's recommending gets you about as glossy as I've ever seen. But, maybe the Jeweler's Rouge will take it a bit further. ???
