I/my SO just bought a whetstone paddle a few weeks ago. they take about 2 weeks from order to receipt. construction looks good and flex appears comparable to other CF paddles. price is very right too. the only major difference between them and a more expensive CF paddle appears to be the joint between two parts of the 2 piece paddle (this is eliminated obviously in a 1piece) but the hole that the little peg pops throguh to hold the shaft in desired position is no terribly reinforced and will eventually wear out and cause some paddle wobble/play at the coupling. Not a problem if you tape the joint once this happens or just buy a new paddle every few years. depends how much use it gets.

the paddles appear nice and pretty and light. i think my SO got the larger blade style and in a 220 cm shaft with 2 piece option. perhaps I could wiegh it tonight at home and post the wieght.

they are a good deal and if my paddle wasn't so new (non CF wood euro style) I would probably get one.
