I admit that the plans from the book are hard to work with because they are so small, but there is enough info there to build a kayak if you are willing to do some extra work. The table of offsets is provided for the hull panels, and the bulkheads are drawn to scale. The extra work comes in scaling up the size of the drawings, especially in drawing the curves of the bow and stern. But all the information is there.
