I would rather build kayaks than seats.

An easier way than the "cast copy" is actually carve your own seat from layers of minicell foam. I believe it's easier to carve the layers BEFORE you glue them, but I didn't tried it yet.

I currently use the pygmy pad. I find it comfortable, but it gives me nbs so I need to find something else.

next week I'll try to add to it a layer of minicell & see if it solves the nbs. if yes, than it stays. if not, I'll do the whole seat from minicell.
