: Howdy Rehd,
: I like the cheap "chip" brushes Erez mentioned from Home Depot. I
: think I usually get a box of 15 for $10 or something. A little high. I've
: heard of people wrapping the brush in plastic wrap and putting it in the
: freezer - then you can reuse it. When you start working on larger flatter
: areas of the boat - just pour the goop on and spread it with a Bondo
: spreader - works great.
: I'd definitely give up on the Glen-L. Life is too short to spend it working
: with scalding epoxy gel and sanding the mess down later. You won't believe
: how fast and easy it goes with "slow" epoxy.
: I guess it's true what they say: "No good deed goes unpunished."
: Cheers, PC
Yeh, it seems whenever I try to help folks, it always goes about the hardest route it could. Gotta earn them points. I'm going out to see David again tomorrow and see his paddle that he started just recently. Will be nice to see up close and first hand. Plus, I need to get away from this creature for a few minutes. I just picked up a dozen of the 2" foam brushes for $8.96 at Orchard. Was thinkin' about going to the .98c store and seeing if they have them any cheaper, but, I figured the cheaper, the weaker. Gotta go for now, so........
