Liberal internal applications of alcohol may not sooth your sunburn, but it will kill brain cells. The theory is much like that of natural selection: the alcohol catches and kills the slowest, dumbest brain cells first thereby leaving you with a higher ratio of quicker, smarter brain cells vs the slow ones.
