Two things.
I'm glad there were no cracked boats or bones.
Re. Paul's over engineering: Over engineering is (to me) a bit different than over building. Over engineering is what I tend to sometimes do. That is, I think about it too much, instead of doing it. Sometimes it is wise to just build a little heavy and get it done. In aerospace weight is critical, on the water weight is convenience.
