Hi Guys;
The sun cure stuff is polyester resin, but their "Ding-All Ultra Clear Epoxy" is just that. I used it for my entire kayak. It is a 2:1 mix that is very thin, very clear, and has a long pot life. The web site is not very clear, you can email them for a catalog which is much more informative.
I intend (I think) to apply polyester resin for a finish coat. Not sun-cure, but whatever they use at the local surf board mfr. They use it over (Ding-All) epoxy and it is startlingly clear, and buffs up like a mirror. My only concern is brittleness, but the surf boards seem to hold up OK. It can't be much more brittle than varnish.
