Dean, dont doubt your measuring skills!! Most people are born with a slight leg length discrepancy: you are probably just noticing yours!! For the truly anal/precise measurement, you can have a chiropracter/physical therapist friend measure your leg lengths so you can adjust accordingly. (learned abou this from the world of cycling) good luck!
