Hello All;

I'm not sure how many people even look at the "Top 10" prolific posters. I don't even know if it is regarded as a plus or minus if one is prolific or not. Shucks, I don't even know if this is a point worth considering for most board members.

I do know that since I discovered I am fast approaching Lee (one of my favorite posters) for 1st place, my posting pattern has changed. I'm torn between wishing to impart what info I've gathered, or being known as a "prolific poster," and perhaps a "ratchet jaw." Some of my responses are made via email as a consequence, although I generally feel even my limited building knowledge might help others who are where I was just a few months ago.

Many, if not most of the "Prolific Posters" posts are responses to queries (Re:) as opposed to new subject titles such as this one. People looking for help with what is a new situation for them, but might be old hat for others of us who faced that same dilemna "months" ago . . . ;-) I rarely see a new thread started by (i.e.) Lee, or the rest of the people in the "Top 10," but these people have been very supportive of new and old builders alike, and respond to most posters that they can assist. This is good. Having our responses tabulated and reported on as a "Prolific Poster" is at least questionable - Unless I am 180 degrees out of phase . . .

How do you feel? What do you think of the format on the design board here at KBBS, where the number of views is displayed alongside the title?
