Until it was pointed out today by Spidey I'd never even noticed the "Top 10" list. Now that I know it exists will I take a look at it again, probably not. But I don't think that's a reason to drop the feature - if others are interested.

This bulletin board is a godsend to novice kayak builders like myself. I don't think my first S&G would have come out half as nice were it not for all the information I've gotten here. And the 2nd boat (in progress) will be even better thanks to you guys (boys AND girls).

Whether you're on the Top 10 list or not - if you post here you've got my thanks. Whether you're answering questions or posing questions that stimulate interesting answers, you've got my thanks too. And special thanks to Nick for creating and maintaining this great resource.

There's such an unusual and conspicuous lack of one-upmanship on this board that I don't think the Top 10 list will go to anyone's head. With all the knowledge and skill many of you possess, it's amazing there's hardly an "ego" to be seen.

Really looking forward to meeting some of you face to face at Port Townsend later this month.
