Hello fellow builders, I have a question on glassing the two halves of the hulls, I have faired and sanded my Guillemot Single and just finished applying a sealer coat of epoxy to the deck and tommorrow will flip the jig over and seal coat the bottom. I have faired the deck and and bottom, removed the staples, the bow and the stern are tight together but in the middle of the hull, the two halves are 5/16 apart. My question is it safe to fibreglass the two halves with this much gap? My concern is when it comes time to join the halves together they may not join properly. I am also thinking about not putting hatches in this boat, but am wondering if this will make it more difficult to join together not having the access. I appreciate the help, good building and paddling, Rick
