: how it built up. I had less sags with that cheap poly bristle brush then I
: ever had with the foam brushes and in the long run (no pun intended) it
: was cheaper to use. It took two additional coats with a brush to get a
: satisfactory final finish.

I wonder if masking tape on both sides of the scratch would make a neater job?
