O.K., Dale, I won't give you crap about adding a rudder!-)
But I do have a beef about quick epoxy. It isn't as strong as the regular stuff, and I wouldn't use it in places where it needs to be strong, like hatch hooks. I think the concept is that epoxy forms long-string molecules, and the less time it has to form them, the shorter the molecules are, and the weaker the material is. It's like a pile of spaghetti -- the longer the noodles, the more tangled the mess -- which is stronger. If you compare the labels on the twin-tube epoxies at the store, you will find that the fastest ones are the weakest. One brand actually has a chart listing the procucts (1-minute, 5-minute, longer...) and their strength in PSI. I used 1-minute epoxy for doing some of the inlay work on the deck of my Outer Island, but this was covered by glass and regular epoxy where strength mattered more.
