Hey Pete, I am just starting one as well. My advice so far is to read the plans more carefully than I did. When you are measuring the boards off the chalk line the first board appears to be on the chalk line on either end. The plans have a dash at either end in the box that list height off of the chalk line. I worked off of this and have had to re-do it. Look up in the left hand corner and it will show you in the detail that that dash should be 3/8th of an inch. This is obvious to me now and probably always has been to you, but just in case.
