I probably won't need it initially, but the resin won't be any harder than automotive paint - That means it will probably deteriorate in time, and require either rebuffing, or resorting to a wax of some sort. My only thought is that polishing is easier than buffing. I succumbed to the silicone stuff on my old 'Vette, I might again . . . ;-)
