I've read in the last couple of days that there are jig saw blades that cut on the down stroke rather than on the up, mabe that would help in preventing the plans from pulling up and turning into a mess. I use a band saw & 3m adhesive and have had no problems. The December '99 "Wooden Boat" has an article that shows how to cut out forms using a router and a patern cutting bit, I'm thinking of trying this on the next boat, presuming that the DTI gets to a level that permits the construction of another boat.
