I bet the "clear" resin costs more too! ;-)

The stuff I got is pretty thin also. The examples of their boards finished with this stuff were rather nice looking. It will buff up to a mirror surface. I've been looking at a dull (sanded) 'yak for so long it should be a shock to see some shine.
