Hey Paul, You can get plans for a McKenzie River Drift boat, 16' from Altair Industries. It is wood/composite construction......looks good.......check them out at www.ezlink.com/~ricksco/driftboat/driftboat.htm The plans are $45 and include a building manual. garland Are you a flyfisher???
: Hi all,

: I know this is probably not the right place to post my message, but I got a
: lot of great advice when building my Chesapeake 17 last year (which,by the
: way, turned out great and is a pleasure to paddle). I'm now looking to
: build a drift boat river dory for fishing, and I need some help finding a
: reputable place for plans. Anyone suggest anyplace where I can find some?
: Preferably stitch and glue.

: Thanks

: Paul
