I did think about the Shearwater design, but am more interested in trying my hand at a strip built, and to my knowledge the North Star is the only baidarka availble in kit form with strips.

As a long time lurker, seldom poster on this board, and having seen how these types of discussions degenerate rather quickly. I was curious as to whether the previous post conflicts with the guidelines....

No need to get off topic from my intial question, since that is what I am interested in. Just had to get it off my chest.
