Wood is a renewable resource that has been used by humankind for 10's of thousands of years . . . Please consider perhaps devoting your energy to containing the reproductive rate of the inhabitants here, or seeking new frontiers and human accomodations - - The natural resources are for our collective use, and I consider it very regrettable that you would attack (however gently) a poster who is simply harvesting wood for a legitimate use.

It is regrettable that the present "politicaly correct" atmosphere would cause people to have such responses. I'm sure my fireplaces over the last 30 years have burned hundreds of times what the poster might even consider harvesting. Also, the internal combustion engine is not that bad either . . . ;-)
