Heh--this is what we've been working up to, isn't it? Finally ready to commit that expensive carbon fiber to epoxy!!

I've still got 1.5 yards of that triaxial carbon on hand--I think I'll just find some 2 oz. glass to put on the front and back faces of it for scuff protection.

Before I do the CF, I think I need to figure out bleeder and breather plies so I can really get all that excess epoxy out.

I figure I use 40-50% less resin with my vacuum bagging setup than with a normal hand layup requiring me to fill the weave.

With bleeder/breather, I should cut 10%-20% off my current resin usage, so I should be at 50-60% less resin than in my "conventional" blades.

Maybe I should go back to foam cores and try vacuum-bagging ala Epic Paddles.
