Lots of discussion has been given to alternitive epoxy thickeners such as flour, but here's one I haven't seen before. When painting hulls on S&G's, I use a high build primmer to fair out the small imperfections before painting. As the goal is to sand the vast majority of the primer off, I'm left with a dust bag full of the stuff. Is there any reason not to use this as a thickener? As it turns the epoxy the color of the paint, I would only use it in non-visable aplications, or it could be used to tint layups. Seems better then throwing it out if it won't create a weak bond.
