while paddling Bowron Lake chain (northern B.C. Canada) saw in the distance a square stern canoe/sailboat. Canoe was approximately 17 ft long with single mast mast mid ships and crossbar holding sail furled across gunnels. Owner was easily paddling with a full camping load at the time, so was definatley a canoe. Could not see manufacturers name and owner did not speak english so was unable to get any info on it. Canoe was definatley a manufactures design and not home made. Would love to find out more about this set up... Could be a blast building. Can anyone point me to any pages on this subject???? Ross.
