: I think I may have messed up my ratio, mixing my seal coat. I'm using Raka
: 2:1 It is still tacky after 24 hrs. I don't think I used enough hardener.
: Any ideas, can I apply another coat using the correct mix? Will that cure
: the under coat? Thank you.

I am not an epoxy expert, but, in the past I have read threads where the same problem has occured and there are two different approaches which may help. #1 would be to build a tent around the boat with plastic or cardboard and use heat lamps to bring the tempurature up to say 100* to 120* ( you may wish to double check with someone else who has tried it, or remembers the comments of the past) and leave it in there for a few hours and see if it will set the epoxy off. #2 would be to scrape all of the epoxy off the boat and then clean it thoroughly with a solvent, and I won't venture to tell you which is the best. I have heard denatured alcohol, acetone, and a couple of brand name cleaners that others will be able to tell you about. You could also look into the archives and search for some of the past info on the same subject. Sorry I couldn't be of more specific help, but, until I get a little experience in the glass end of the process, I do not feel qualified to comment further.
