Be very careful with any solvents that you use. Any oil based products will interfere with the epoxy to substrate bond. Some manufacturers recommend against the use of acetone as a wash stating that most acetone is reclaimed and may contain impurities that will hinder good bonding.
If you do consider using solvents, be sure to do a test on scrap first. Ricci
