Hello Spidey,

I appreciate you getting me squared away on what you were doing. I hope it works for you so that I can try it out. No doubt that the final finish is the most odius task involved in building a wooden boat. I must admitt that I don't generally spend a lot of time on this step. I find that a perfect finish can be down right inhibitory as far as using a boat hard and I must admitt that I have no mercy on my boats. The bottoms of a couple of my boats look like patch work quilts!
