I've read numerous post about bungeed hatches and still wonder about the lost cargo hold space... I can barely get may sleeping bag, tent, stove, food, mats,...into the holds of a WR164, we do 1-3 day trips in the san juans. Friends have a COHO & a piece of tupperware. Are you bungee hatch people talking about toys that look cool but are not useful or do you really use you cargo holds to haul more than you laptop, wine & cheese. Is it better to look cool and sit on the beach than go out a get slammed by 5 foot waves. If were building toys lets admitt it and move on....
