but as long as you've got the time and the choices available the decision making can be crippling. My Mariner has 3 through the deck parallel lines, two pairs of parallel lines is sufficient, three looks impressive, the criss-cross business doesn't reflect any particular function it's just a way to make bungie go everywhere. I find front deck bungies are used primarily as a temporary spot to put a paddle blade, the criss cross bungies seem to not be as easy to slide a blade under. Unless you've got a mesh deck cover like Prijon boats or a deck bag bungies are a pretty inadequate way to secure stuff for long. Keep it simple and don't have the first bungie right next to the coaming where your skirt grab loop is.
