I am building a CLC multi chime boat. I have built the hull and glassed it in and out. I chose to put on a temp. deck and use it to build a strip deck. Seems to have worked well. I have glassed the top and pulled it off. It registers well with the hull. I am going to glass the interior soon. When it comes to joining the two I am not sure how to proceed. Looking for suggestions. I think I will just lay some thickened epoxy on the sheer clamp and clamp the two with a roll of dress makers elastic I have. Its two inches wide, quite strong and I have a huge amount of it. Should I go on and tape this seem from the out side? CLC doesn't do this on there boats and there decks are sprung over the bulk heads while mine lays there correctly. Any advice encouraged.
