notwithstanding having my own ideas, I would like to compliment you on a very slick comprehensive design. Unlike keepers, seaward, yakima and others, for the footpeg, you have managed to compress 3 or 4 components into only one simple piece. It locks in place b/c of the channel flange and angled brace, and yet just pull forward and it ratchets towards you. very nice and minimal.
