Hi Scott;

I went with the rolling bevel, even tho I have a router table and the appropriate bits. I decided to start that way and go to C&B if it got difficult, but it actually got easier as I learned technique. There is one caveat to be aware of, and that is over-beveling. It is easy to create a panel that is perfect on the outside but with larger glue joints on the inside. unless you look for that detail specifically. That is getting kinda picky, but be aware of the seam appearance inside as well.

Personally, I think the most important aspect of stripping is developing a twisting technique for the strips, and soaking or steaming the most severely twisted and bent strips. This allows you to comfortably and painlessly glue and clamp the strips without even thinking about getting them into the proper position - It should be almost automatic.
