In Response To: Military paint update & questions (Ross Leidy)
Hi Ross;
The easiest way I found to measure out small batches is with a scale. The volume vs. weight ratio is not perfect, but close enough. I used an analog postal scale initially, 16oz with 1 ounce major divisions, and could easily mix 1oz of 2:1 epoxy. I recently got a digital postal scale, and it resolves to 1 gram. It is best to put the digital scale in a ziplock bag, in case of spills and accidents . . . ;-) Just place a small cup on, zero the scale, and put the resin/hardener in however you choose.
Hope this helps, Spidey
