Is it possible to glue some braces to the underside of the hatch cover to force it to match the curvature of the deck at that point? If the side-to-side curvatures don't match, you'll have trouble getting a good seal regardless of the type of hold-downs you use.

: I have a problem getting a tight seal on my hatches. I tried using Ross's
: internal bungie hold down's ( great idea ) but my hatches don't match the

: mounting covers, that will sit on a plywood lip epoxied underneath the
: hatch opening. The archives talk about using bolts or webbing to hold
: hatches down. I'm not sure what to try. How do I attach the web hold-downs
: to the deck? By screwing them in or maybe epoxy glue? If bolts are the way
