$100 dollars Canadian does seem like a lot of money at first, but remember the rule of woodworking tools, you get what you pay for. I purchased a set of Jesada Bead and Cove bits ($75 US) and have been absolutely pleased with their performance. I plan on using these for a long, long time and think that they are worth the investment. I have paid less for other router bits and have gotten what I paid for, acceptable bits, but nothing to write home about. if you plan on using these bits for just one or two projects, then by all means go with a less expensive set. However, if you plan on a long and illustrious boat building career invest in the best tools you can, it will pay off in the long run.
