It's great for gluing porous surfaces like felt and leather, which is what it's designed for.

It's still available. Home Depot sells it, among others.

I've tried this and haven't found it to be any stronger than plain ol' contact cement when use on minicell foam, and it's much more expensive. I also found that it goes on thicker, which creates a hard, difficult to shape layer if you're laminating the foam, such as for a seat or thigh/hip braces.
