Kent, I modified the bungee attachment on my Spring Run a little. I put four small D rings cut of plywood into the hull, at about the waterline. Then four hooks, also cut of 1/4" plywood, onto the bottom of the hatch covers. Then, I used four loops of bungee inside the boat, with the plastic pushbutton things that let you adjust the bungee. This way, I can adjust the internal tension. I have a picture of it, but no website yet. I can email it if you want.
