What kind of modifications have you made? I have looked at the footbrace plans in Nick Schade's book which I think are the same ones in your plans. I am planning on building Yakima-like footbraces using the dimensions of the rail and slider that Nick designed, but I think you are the second person to mention that you have altered his design a bit. Did you alter the rail and slider or some other part?
