On my Spring Run, I modified the track slightly, making it a little bigger and looser fitting. When I got the brace into the boat, I thought it was too loose, so I put a 1/16" spacer under the brace and it is just right now. Too tight on the slider and the wood expands a little making it difficult to adjust. Also, I didnt like the idea of several sharp-looking hooks by my toes, so I put a jam cleat instead.
