How to use the offset tables in "Kayakcraft" is somewhat less than clear in the book, especially establishing a base line to work from. Search back through the posts in Peer Talk on the Bear Mountain Web Site. On December 8 and 9, 1999, there were several posts by Steve Killing about laying out the offsets from "Kayakcraft." There is a sketch included in one of the posts that should help clear things up a little. There are also additional offsets given for the stems of some of the kayaks in "Kayakcraft" elsewhere on the site.

Hope this helps.
