: I have a little cart that fits into the hatch. I find, however, that it's
: small and narrow wheels don't do so well over soft sand. I want to find
: out what my options are but a web search didn't turn up much. Any good
: plans available...or commercially made ones. I know they exist...I've seen
: them.
: Thanks, Dave Walker
I use very narrow and light plastic wheels on Cart 2a and also a found set of foam filled plastic ones that have a little wider tread. They easily fit inside - but the wheels are the driver. In one of my kayaks, I jam the wheels just behind the seat - one at each side (they don't move - if they did I'd restrain them). I also notice that some electric wheelchairs have plastic, light, strong abt 12" diam inflatables - might be worth checking. I gotta look at those other egs
BUt anyway, heres a bunch of dwgs I did last yr on some cart ideas.
