: Does anyone have a cockpit pattern that would work well with the Little Auk.

I have the same questions. I finish stripping this weekend and after planing and sanding, I will be ready for the cockpit. The issues for me are: make a recess or not; install cheek plates or use foam; laminating the coaming lip, and making a seat and backrest. I am not even sure whether to glass the deck before making the coaming or not. Nick's book addresses all of these issues, but this board is full of alternative ideas, and I confuse easily. Because he hasn't steered me wrong yet, my inclination is to follow the methods in the book including omitting the recess. I know this is no help to you, but maybe we can attract some.
