I think it's easiest to put the pegs in when you glass the shear (if your building a stripper). I do one at a time when I glass the outside of the seam. You can get pegs at a bunch of different places and they all deliver very quick. There all about the same price. Check out Newfound Woodworks, CLC, or John R Sweet Co. I have delt with all of them and find them all top notch.
