Hi All

Now that I've had a chance to try my new boat in different conditions, here are some of my observations compared to my 17' version.

- Obviously floats higher.

- tracks stronger.

- feels significantly less sluggish when loaded with camping gear.

- because I was extra carefull to ensure the strips conformed to the forms 1' & 6" from the ends, I find this boat responds better to leans.

- has slightly more gear capcity.

- weighs 52 lbs, 2 lbs heavier then the 17' version.

- higher cruising speed (more effort required)

- a lot more effort in head winds at a slow pace.

- surfs great.
