: Once exposed to air, silicone will cure, it may just take time. 20 hrs is not

Thanks Mick,
I completely missed those previous posts. I new that the wrap would hinder the curing process so I removed the hatch and cut the wrap away at the opening. This let more air at the inside edge of the gasket. When I pulled up the wrap on the front hatch, both edges were cured but the middle was soft and clung to the wrap which made a mess of things. So, I'll leave it on a little while longer and hope that the wrap can be removed once the silicone is cured.
