Congtatulations on the launch!! Glad to hear that you are pleased with the handling of the Baidarka's, especially glad, due to the fact that I am well into the building process of my own Baidarka. I have stitched the hull, fit the cutwater, and am presently fitting the skeg. Like you mentioned in your article this is quite a job, you have to be part spider (not Spidey, although he makes everything seem easy) and even then you would be a few appendages short. BTW I had occaision to call Eric Schade from Shearwater the other day to clear up some questions re: my temporary bulkheads, what a nice guy!, after I had talked to him for 2 mins. I felt like he was a long time friend, and he sure seems to know his stuff.

Once again, congratulations on your launch, and thanks for being so patient and so helpful with the questions that I have bombarded you with regarding the building of these kayaks.
