Hi Gary & Kent;

I too tried the shop towels, so I had something consistent to work with rather than my "rag bin." Turned out it worked as good as any rag, thanks Kent!

Gary, my wife picked them up for me at an Ace Hardware, about $2 . . . I had a rag drop some lint on my second hull coat, so these shop towels are actually a safer bet. After 4 coats (total of top & bottom, 2 each), I'd say thin a little bit (5% or so with new varnish) and keep the rag soaked before an application - - You have to wet an area with it with NO dry spots before you level it. Unlike Kent, I would never return to a brush after experiencing the speed and surface smoothness on such a large area. Well, out to the garage for another coat!

Best Regards, Spidey
